Zak began CrossFit in 2013 after the occasional running on a treadmill and sets of 3×10 bi’s and tri’s left his workouts feeling as empty as the population of Alderaan.  Zak began CrossFit on his own by trying different workouts posted online at the CrossFit Mainsite and learning the movements from demo videos posted on YouTube.  After his first couple workouts, Zak made the jump to hyperspace and never turned back.

Zak has played sports his entire life and even coached college football at Delaware Valley University where he had his first opportunity to lead large strength and conditioning sessions.
